Open to all ages and experience levels, SEATTLE BRASS ATTACK
is primarily a brass choir implementing drum corps style bell-front
instruments, all in the key of G, accompanied by percussion.
The ensemble may take on other configurations, and will grow
and change according to the talent and desire of the membership.
We currently perform arrangements made specifically for Seattle
Brass Attack, as well as arrangements borrowed from drum corps
history.
We strive to deliver an exciting and accessible performance
to our audience, while creating an opportunity for growth for
our members. Our program is designed to allow every member to
contribute to the “team.” We challenge our players to take personal
ownership of the role they play within the group, and endeavor
to execute exacting performances.
All instruments are supplied to members. We have a matching set of 60+ Kanstul brass instruments,
including Sopranos (Trumpets), Mellophones, Baritones, Euphoniums,
and Contrabasses (Tubas).
SEATTLE BRASS ATTACK was formed by group of drum corps enthusiasts and alumni who want to support
the Northwest Drum Corps scene by participating in it.
The Seattle Brass Attack is Directed by Steve Baretich, and managed by David Endicott
